Like many long-term real estate professionals, Kathy Wardle has seen all facets of the housing market over more than a decade.
Kathy has been with Keller Williams for eight years and recently joined the Bill McCoy team. Prior to that, she worked several years as an independent realtor and has 13 total years in the businesses.
Kathy earned her real estate license while selling modular homes, putting in many years working in rural areas before joining a friend’s real estate team.
Real estate work – finding the right home for the right people – is the most rewarding part of her job.
Prior to her real estate career, Kathy worked as a travel agent.
When she’s not finding that perfect house for her clients, Kathy can be found in the yard gardening and out finding antiques and antique shopping. Her most recent find – an old porcelain sink – has been put to use in her very own home. She says she enjoys the “primitive, old, ugly stuff.”
Kathy’s son, Christopher, is a new agent also on the Bill McCoy Team. She also has a daughter in Kentucky and a granddaughter at the University of Kentucky.
Kathy grew up around Kansas City and graduated from Van Horn High School.
Being in the real estate game as long as she has, Kathy has one unique trick up her sleeves – and it’s in her desk drawer: marbles. She said that’s her secret to seeing how level floors of a house are.
